Holding On to Hope
"Faith unites us, hope sustains us."
Our Mission Statement
The purpose of the BWC Pancreatic Cancer Support Group is to create a safe, compassionate community where survivors and caregivers can find encouragement and connection. Our focus is on emotional support and shared understanding — reminding each person that they are not alone on this journey. While we cannot provide medical advice, we can provide listening ears, open hearts, and a space where hope and healing are nurtured.
About the Group
“But now, Lord, what do I look for? My hope is in You.” – Psalm 39:7
This scripture is the heart behind the Holding On to Hope Support Group — a compassionate, faith-centered space created for pancreatic cancer survivors and the caregivers who walk beside them. Whether you’re new on this journey or continuing a road you’ve traveled for some time, this group exists to remind you that you are not alone. Our time together is filled with honest conversation, encouragement, and understanding — a place where you can breathe, find connection, and feel truly seen. While we cannot provide medical advice, we do offer open hearts, listening ears, and a community that believes in hope even in the hardest seasons.
We meet on the third Thursday of each month at 7:00 PM ET via Zoom. Once you register, you’ll receive an email on the day of the meeting with the Zoom link and simple instructions on how to join. If a meeting date ever falls on a holiday, we will provide an alternate date (when applicable) or share updated details directly by email. This group is free, welcoming, and rooted in the belief that hope and healing grow stronger when shared — one conversation, one connection, and one moment of support at a time.
